Caesar and Victor are moving to Vencedores to help Lee & Candy. They are very good examples. Dottie went shopping while I read, walked and meditated as I seek the Lord and some answers. I have always had trouble being ‘still’ before the Lord. My mind is running a 100 meter dash while God has me on a marathan run. When I entered high school I had a 34 waist and yesterday Dottie bought me a pair of 31s. I am decreasing.

Although Joshua was a faithful servant and friend to Moses did not mean that he was not close to anyone else. And when Moses sent the 12 spies into the Promised Land he made sure that Joshua was not alone. He sent Caleb.

We may not all be servants to great men of God but we do not need to walk this life alone. This particular friend will by only one of two men who left Egypt, stayed faithful and entered the Promised Land.

What encourages me the most is that although he was 85 years old at the time of the entrance into Canaan he did his own fighting. He never quit. He never gave up. Age to him was no excuse for weakness or slacking off.

I have no excuse for not seeing to the end the call God has given me. Years ago I told God that I prayed He would allow me to see my children grow up to adulthood. I am still holding onto that prayer.
