The kids just keep treating me like an old man. Oops! I are one! They will carry the lightest item for me. If I get in the car alone they run & ask if they can ride so that I will be safe.

The results of my biopsy were negative. Thank you Jesus!

Thinking correctly and having goals are necessary for success. But a third suggestion is HARD WORK. Those are curse words to many people. We live in a society that does not enjoy labor. When folks tell me they want to come live and help at Casa I always tell them this is a 24 hour, 7 days a week position. Being overworked is par. We go to bed exhausted. Lazy or selfish people cannot tolerate it.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 says that “Whatsoever your hand needs to do then do it woth all your strength”. Christianity is not for lazy sissies.

In a world filled with lies and broken promises another key to success is being HONEST. Romans 12:17  “Provide things honest in the sight of man”. Sadly people think nothing of lying about their jobs, positions, etc. But worse for a Christian is the broken promise! If everyone who said to me they were going to do such and such for Casa had done it things would be so much better.

I suppose that leads to #5 which is a Christian should always fulfill their OBLIGATIONS. “We are to owe no man anything but to love him” (Romans 13:8). If each Christian would be part of the solution rather than part of the problem America would not be in the toilet where it is today. So few people do so much of the work.

One person or a small group of people cannot acomplish what a large, dedicated group can accomplish.
