Brother Barry

Recently I learned that Brother Barry Thompson passed away. He founded KAJN Radio and was one of the Godliest and most loving men I have ever known. Over 40 years I had a program there. When I began, I taught on faith and never received any letters and very little offerings. I was discouraged and told Barry I was not a radio preacher and would go off the air. He told me the problem was that I was teaching what everyone else was teaching and that was faith. He told me that I was called to teach on the family. I began and the rest was history.

When God called me to Guatemala, I told Barry that I could not afford to stay on the air and go to the mission field. Three weeks later he called to say that he had 50 people pledge to help us in Guatemala. I was able to stay on the air with enough each month to sustain us in Guatemala for 6 months. I owe him so much. I send my condolences to his son Craig and the KAJN family.

Our relationship to God´s Word #4. The fourth test is the PREPERATION test. This means how God deals with us. Matthew 24:44, “Therefore be you also ready for in such an hour as you think not the Son of God cometh.” God will reshape your character, removing what no longer fits your life, and builds your spiritual strength for a new season. It is a season of waiting or testing.
