Women´s Retreat

Mariela, Jill, Floro and Gladys went with Estela to the women´s retreat and they will return tonight. Mario is still coming to me with stories of how God touched him at the men´s retreat last weekend.

Continuing with the SUFFICIENCY of God we realize that believers do not need to rely solely on their own talent, wisdom or effort. Recognizing God´s provision frees people from anxiety, greed and the pursuit of materialism. Sufficiency of God invites faith. Acknowledges human limits allow God´s power to work through weakness.

God´s righteousness is interchangeable with His justice. Bavinck says “Even in the law every judge and also every individual Israelite is warned not to wrest the justice due to the poor, not to slay the righteous, not to take a bribe and not to oppress the sojourner, the widow or the orphan.” (Exodus 23:6-9). God´s justice is God´s fairness.
