Steve and Pam

Steve and Pam were the first couple to come and help us. When Dottie flipped the van and broke her back Steve and Pam let us recuperate in their home while they moved on campus and cared for the children. Today they have a wonderful ministry and school.

One of the blessings of being in ministry here after 37 years is the wonderful people who pass through your life.

The volcano Fuego has been spewing smoke and fire today so they are evacuating 2 villages. It is less than 40 miles from us. 700 people had to go to shelters because of the ash.

The North Carolina team continues to build the house in the village.

Acceptance chooses to believe that “All things God works for the good of those who love Him, to them called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8.28). I have lived a long life and many times I have wondered why certain things happen to us. They do not feel “good” when we are walking through it but God has a person. It is this scripture Dottie, and I must hold onto during this time in her life.”

God is always present. Present means that which has existence in the present. To be currently in view or at hand; close, near and immediate. No matter where we go God is already there. With every trial I face, I joyfully discover You have gone before me to guide me. Exodus 33:14, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Psalm 73:23-24 says, “Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand, you guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.”
