First Lady

This was the First Lady of Guatemala in 1996. Her name is Patricia and her husband was Alvaro Arzu. He was the President that brought about the cease fire and end to the 37 year war.
They spoke to our children and twice came to share lunch with Dottie and me.

I messed up and my update did not work. The volcano eruption displaced 2 villages. So far there are no casualties.
Sue brought Dottie a song book from 1937 and she and Carolyn sang hymns togather.
The North Carlina team is working with Hands of Hope building a house for a poor family. Charlie who was raised at Casa and Eric who taught in our school now have this wonderful ministry.
John 13:34-35, “A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” People will know you are a Christian by your love when your actions match the selfless, forgiving, and humble way Jesus lived and loved others. Remember Jesus washed the disciples’ feet. Do you? The meaning of God´s holiness.
