Red Rose

Dottie loves roses and this one was in her garden.

The Louisiana team left for the states. They finished painting the wall before they left. It was good to see them as it has been many years they have come to Casa annually.

The ladies on the Tennessee team washed Dottie´s feet and prayed for her. With the many folks in the states praying for Dottie she is surely being shown the love of God.

A team from Alabama visiting another home stopped by to do puppets for the children. They are here because of Charlie. Charlie was raised at Casa and was a terrible kid. He ran away at 15. Later he got saved and now has had ministry with teams and speaks in the states. I am so proud of him and how God has used him to minister to others.

The Tennessee team is helping with the sheet rock in the older girls dorm.

“Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves.” To me kindness is unconditional love. If there are conditions to your love, then it is not God´s love. Unconditional love is kindness, compassion and forgiveness shown to others. God has unconditionally loved me and I need to reflect that to others. Jesus did not throw away Peter when He denied Him. What would have happened if He had not given him another chance?

“And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and He saw the SPIRIT OF GOD descending like a dove, and lighting on Him. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:16-17. This is common name in the Old Testament. See I Samuel 11:6 and Job 33:4. Matthew was wanting to show Christ as anointed and empowered by God Himself. This fulfilled Isaiah´s prophecy about the Messiah that “The of the Lord shall rest upon Him.” Isaiah 11:2.
