Jeremy and Ami
Jeremy and Amy have been part of the ministry for years. They even have come for a month on various occasions. They want to help guide the older children who have left Casa. This is a very needed ministry.
I catch up with Dottie on this day, the 11th, and we are both 83. It has gone so fast.
Michelle, our special needs daughter, has had terrible behavior since Adela left. She does want to obey Shandi. She refuses to bathe and wash her hair. Shandi, Orlando, Mario, Lily, Mariela and others talk to her to little avail. Lily told her if she was obedient, she could spend the weekend with her and Tony, our son. We need people to put Michelle on their prayer list because only Jesus can give Michelle peace.
A Christian home should be grounded in love, grace and spiritual disciplines. This means we honor God, prioritize mutual respect, practice forgiveness and serve others. Joshua 24:15 says “But as for me and my house er will serve the Lord.”
Another name for the Holy Spirit is found in Isaiah 11:2. “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE AND THE FEAR OF THE LORD.”
There are six names for the Holy Spirit found in this verse. The prophet gives them to us in 3 sets of twos. Proverbs 1;7 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” We must have a healthy respect for the Lord God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
