My Mother

My Mother with us and two babies. She loved it.

Dottie woke me up saying her foot was broken. That is how much pain she is experiencing. It breaks my heart to see her suffer.

Ted, a board member, and his team had a special meal for Dottie and our family, and it was special. Their kindness is appreciated.

The Bible repeatedly emphasizes kindness as a reflection of God´s love. It is an active choice of compassion. Forgiveness and generosity in our daily lives.

Hearing the laughter of the children as they play games with the visitors is such joy to my ears. Do you know that when I say Alleluia Acres, I am praising God for more property? Casa had many acres when I was in Lake Charles and we have many acres here in Guatemala.

My mother always resented that I left America but twice in her latter years she visited us. She loved the babies and I am certain God moved on her. At least she understood why we came to live in Guatemala.

Proverbs 21:21 “Whosoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness and honor.” It cost so little to be kind and the rewards are great.

Ephesians 4:29-30 says “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good that it may minister grace to the hearer. And grieve not the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD whereby you are sealed until the day of redemption.” It is clear in this verse that we can grieve the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is not a thing. He is a person. This verse tells me that at salvation I am sealed with ownership and security.
