First Christmas

Our first Christmas picture in 1989.

The North Carolina team is continuing the demolishing and restoring of the walls in the older girl´s dorm.

I am studying the scriptures for explaining to the children why my ministry in Lake Charles and also in Guatemala was called Build Your House on the Rock as well as Alleluia Acres.

Luke 6:35 encourages active kindness towards everyone, even enemies. Micah 6:8 says, “He has told you O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God.” It is required of Christians to love those who hate you. Jesus is our example.

Am the way and the TRUTH and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” Jesus called Himself TRUTH in His conversation with Thomas. Jesus always spoke the TRUTH. But beyond that He acted out the TRUTH in His life and ministry. He also WAS the TRUTH because He is the ultimate reality in the universe. We live in a world in which it is difficult to nail down the truth. Our material world makes it difficult to know the real for our existence. Pilate asked Jesus, “What is truth?” Pilate stood so near to TRUTH and missed it.
