Dedication

Praying for Granddaughter, Jennifer.

Sunday, we dedicated Jennifer the child of Dickla and her husband. That is always special to me.

The Guatemalan government is asking the USA to help with the drug trafficking here in Guatemala.

The team began moving all beds, closets, etc. from Doncillias to Esperanza down. We will begin removing walls and tiles from Doncillas for a total makeover.The then same will be done with Esperanza down and Esperanza up throughout the summer and continue as we refurbish dorm houses.

With the diagnosis of aorta stenosis, I need to walk more and diet avoiding fats. The cardiologist said to return in 6 months so that is encouraging.

I will give my testimony to the two teams today. Both are from Tennessee.

Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not get weary in well doing, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” I think of this scripture in relation to my marriage. There have been times in the early years where Dottie and I were not very loving, and the marriage itself was threatened. But we knew the Word and knew also that if we toughed it out and prayed together God would see us through. I am so glad He did.

SAVIOR OF THE BODY is a name for Jesus found in Ephesians 5:23 which reads, “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church and He is the SAVIOR OF THE BODY.” Paul is not referring to a human body but to the church as the body of Christ.

He says in verse 25 that husbands are to love their wives as Jesus loves the church. Interesting nowhere does the Bbile say wives should love their husbands. If a man loves his wife unconditionally, she will in turn love him.
