Carolyn is here

It is wonderful to say that Carolyn arrived last night. It is such a joy to have her here.

I am still not feeling well but it am getting better each day. We have a group of three ladies here this week and a group of 5 arriving tonight.

Proverbs 11:17 says, “Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin upon themselves.” The Bible emphasizes kindness as a reflection of God´s love and compassion. We are to show compassion, forgiveness and generosity.

Mark 6:3, “Is not this the carpenter, the SON OF MARY the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us? And they were offended at Him.” This verse tells us that Jesus had 4 half-brothers and at least 2 half-sisters. I was never taught this in my church growing up. T

he people of Nazareth could not believe that the coming Messiah would be born into such a family as this. He was the lowly carpenter and that did not compute is the minds of those who hated Him. What was so difficult for them to understand is that children were identified by their fathers not their mothers.
