Jackknife and Traffic

Estela arrived on Wednesday and Jessica and Kelli will arrive tomorrow. They will meet with Adela concerning her future.

There was an accident Sunday night only 100 yards from our front gate. It stalled traffic for over 4 hours. Orlando got caught in the traffic near our home but could not move. Our property is at the peak when people leave San Lucas. They speed up and 200 yards from our front gate is where so many accidents occur. Adam and I both were involved in accidents on this stretch.

Psalm 119:68 “Thou art good and doest good.” This is the scripture I use when I am thinking of Dottie. For all our lives together, Dottie has done good. No man has had a sweeter, kinder, lover of God and love for children than I have. Without her this ministry would be impossible.

Romans 5:8 says, “God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” We need to follow His example and love others. All of us has sinned and fallen short of His glory. We cannot live a full Christian life if we do not love others. PRINCE is another name for Jesus as found in Acts 5:30-31. “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you slew and hanged on a tree. Him has God exalted with His right hand to be a PRINCE and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sin.”

Peter used this name for Jesus when he was teaching before the Jewish Sanhedrin. PRINCE has at least 3 different meanings in the Bible. (1) A prince was the son of a king. (2) A prince was a generic term often used in the Bible for a ruler or leader. (3) A prince was sometimes used as a synonym for a king.
