Gabby

Flowers for Dottie. Three stacks like this. One from every child at Casa. She finally ended up with this plus 8 bouquets.
Sad for me, glad for her. Many of you old timers will remember Gabby. She was the terribly crippled (muscular dystrophy) young lady who would walk to services at Casa from her home 3 blocks away. We sent her to college, and she would walk across the highway to catch a bus.
She was an incredibly strong Christian who suffered all of her short life. Her father committed suicide and her mother died young. She WALKED into heaven last Saturday. It was a joy and an inspiration to have known her.
Many of you helped build her family a home and helped me send her to college. Heaven is an eternal home with God, featuring the end of suffering and the joy of seeing Jesus. I lose my eyes and try to envision Gabby running through heaven and throwing herself into the arms of the Father.
Larry left today for his home in Virginia.
Carolyn will return on June 6th, and we will be able to allow everyone else to share the labors with Dottie, Michelle and me.
We have many children who need sponsors. Please pray about that. It is not about the money. It is about a child who knows they are loved. They all need prayer support and that is what a sponsor should be—a prayer warrior.
Meyers says, “In the midst of your battles, never forget that God loves you and has a plan for you.”
Luke 2:26 says “And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that they should not see death, before he had seen the LORD´S CHRIST.” “The “him” in this verse refers to Simon, a man who came to the temple to see the baby Jesus. The “LORD” in this verse refers to God the Father. Christ means the ANNOINTED ONE”. Even though Jesus was a baby in Mary´s arms Simeon recognized Him. In this verse we see the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
