Birthday

David and Me
Last Friday, 5 days ago, lightening hit our internet antenna, and we are still without service. That means all our social services, office personnel, medical personnel, finances, nurses and psychologists are without services for more than five days.
We have continued to have rain so all of the work being done by the landscapers is blossoming.
My blood pressure is something that you can pray about. Yesterday it was 185/90 which is higher than it has ever been.
Yesterday weas Orlando´s (our son) 32nd birthday.
Psalm 119:105 says “Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light unto my path.” Many Christians walk blindly through this life. I if you do not read the Word and sit in prayer and meditation you will never recognize the fact that God is communicating with you. I need direction so I will not waste what time God has given me. If I would not have listened to God´s voice on the streets of Guatemala in 1988 where would the ministry be. I was happy being a pastor in Lake Charles but look at what He has done here. Get in the Word and let it guide your steps. It is never too late.
A very well used name for Jesus is found in John 11:25-26 “Jesus said unto her I am the RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE: he that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever lives and believes in Me never die.” Jesus was speaking to Martha after her brother, Lazarus, had died. She knew that Jesus could have healed her brother. “If you would have been here.”
That is what many of us say. In our sadness and confusion, we fail to realize that He is with us at all times. But the truth is that He is always with us.
