Yesterday was parent visitation. Tony and I went to find a place to frame my new pictures. The place I always used is no longer there. It took a while but we found one.

The next name for JESUS is JESUS. Luke 2:21 says “And when 8 days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, His name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before He was conceived in the womb.” The name JESUS is the equivalent to the Old Testament name rendered variously as JEHOSHUA. (Numbers 13:16) and JOSHUA in Exodus 17:9. So from the beginning God said JESUS was to be God´s agent of salvation.

JESUS was also a common name in Biblical times. JESUS CHRIST is found in Acts 8:37; JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD in Romans 6:11; LORD JESUS in Colossians 3:17, and LORD JESUS CHRIST in James 2:1.
