Local church ministering to our children.
Alvaro will preach Easter Sunday morning. All the house parents are so quick to love and guide the children in their dorms. They have experienced the love of God and do a good job of sharing that with the children in their dorms.
The children have been playing on the large soccer field at the school. The week has flown by so swiftly.
We had a church group come Saturday and ministered the Word to the children.
I am so grateful for Adela, Tony, Quique and Orlando as they love Dottie so much and treat her like an angel.
The rains continue to fall heavily and steady. This is just what our plants needed.
The championship the boys last week was the 2nd in three years with last year’s game being forfeited because I would not let them go until we finished Bible. Over the years they have gotten to the finals and the other team refused to move the time, so we forfeited. The boys never complain as they understand how important the Word is on Sunday mornings.
Since it is Easter Sunday I am writing today about Jesus THE SON OF GOD as found in Matthew 27:54 where it says “Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, saying, truly this was the SON OF GOD.”
The centurion mentioned here is a Roman military officer who presided over the execution oh Jesus. SON OF GOD can be found throughout the Bible. See Matthew 14:33; Acts 9:20 and romans 1:4. Jesus knew God like no other person that has ever lived. He addressed Him often in His prayers such as John 17:1-26 where He says “Father”. In those days a son was to honor and obey his parents. When Jesus said, “It is finished” He was declaring victory over sin and death.
