Quique under the rainbow.

Look at the multi colored rainbow behind Quique!

Yesterday our older girls attended The Passion of Christ presented by Frater Church.

Amy from Oklahoma came to stay with her sponsor child Allison who was in a car accident. She is fine now.

This church also is the one that sends teams often to preach and play with our children. The older boys and the baby dorm went Saturday. The younger boys went Friday. It is the best Passion Play I have ever seen and they have been presenting it for decades. The children surely got an idea as to what Jesus went through and, they heard again about how to be saved.

Over 35 years ago I was washing dishes in the garage we used as a kitchen. It looked straight out of our window to the gate on the highway. A 13-year-old boy, Augustine, came walking towards the kitchen. He was terribly burned as his father had set him on fire for not begging enough that day. He stayed and graduated and went on with his life. He was to come to church Sunday but could not so I want hime to come next Suday . It has been many yers.

Dottie did not feel good enough to attend church services or else is was my preaching that she avoided. The three days of rain has been a blessing.

0HEAD OF THE CORNER is found in Matthew 21:42 “Jesus said unto them, Did you ever read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected the same is become the HEAD OF THE CORNER: this is the Lord´s doing, and is marvelous in our eyes?”

Jesus quoted Psalms 118:22-23 to the those who questioned His authority.  The point was that He was destined to be rejected by them as Messiah.  In I Peter 2:7-8 Peter quotes the same verse. Peter goes on to say that Jesus, the REJECTED STONE was also a STONE OF STUMBLING and a ROCK OF OFFENSE to those people who thought the Messiah would be a powerful political and military leader.
