Pastor Teddie

Dottie with Pastor Teddie.
Dottie was hurting so we put her on her side to sleep. Somehow, she was able to get her feet out from the cover and get next to the edge of the bed. She has not had this much movement in nearly 2 years, so I am encouraged. They are giving her more intense therapy so there is hope.
The prayers are powerful and just think there are over 700 people who sent me their names 2 years ago who said they would pray for Casa daily and especially for a miracle for Dottie.
The young people who visited me yesterday made my day. I love seeing all my children raised at Casa come back and tell me what is happening in their lives.
Brother Teddy dropped by on his way to see his daughter, Deidra, and her wonderful ministry in Chimaltenango. It is always a blessing to see him on one of his trips to Guatemala. We have been brothers for over 30 years. If you live near Grand Bay, Alabama which is on the Mississippi line down on the Gulf it would bless your socks off to attend one of his services.
Matthew 3:16-17 says, “For you were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and BISHOP OF YOUR SOULS.” This can also mean OVERSEER OR GUARDIAN of your souls. Only here is this name of Jesus called by this name. BISHOP refers to a person who oversees, supervises or watches over the welfare of others.
Sheep were helpless animals who often wandered off alone. They needed a shepherd, guardian or overseer to watch over them and keep them from danger. This is a good image what a pastor should look like. Bishop and elder are interchangeable in the Bible and designates those who are responsible for leading God´s flock in the church. He will keep us safe.
