Law of Meditation

At nearly 83 years old I have a right to ponder.
Old folks have a need to ponder. I think of all that God has done for me. I think of the wonderful children that God has brought into my life. I thank God for the years of ministry he has allowed me. I think of Pinecrest where I was able to love nearly3000 special needs children. I think of the wonderful adopted children that God has given us. I think of my pastoring in Alexandria, Lone Pine, Lafayette and Lake Charles culminating with this wonderful ministry He has given us in Guatemala.
Pray everyday that the Lord would touch the heart of a female missionary to come and live in my home with Michelle and that this person would have a servants heart and to care for Michelle, the two college boys in my home and especially help me with Dottie. I believe out there somewhere is a female with a servant´s heart. Carolyn is so good and will still be here. It is Michelle and my boys I think of daily.
Today was Michelle´s birthday so Minor went and bought pizza and pollo compero. Josue bought cake and ice cream. Adela, Kimberly and Carolyn cooked a nice meal. Michelle was so blessed.
Yesterday was parent visitation. Allowing parents to come one Sunday each month accomplishes 3 things. They sit and listen to the Word I preach. They get to stay a few hours and have lunch with their children. Makko has an opportunity to share with the families.
Jesu is referred to as DAYSPRING ON HIGH in Luke 1:78. “Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the “DAYSPRING FROM ON HIGH hath visited us.” Other versions of the Bible record this as SUNRISE FROM ON HIGH”, “RISING SUN” and DAWN FROM ON HIGH”. The was uttered by Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist after John was born. An angel had said to Zacharias that his son would be a forerunner of the Messiah.
So Zacharias praises the Lord for sending the Messiah. DAYSPRING comes from a Greek word that means “a rising up”. The phrase “ON HIGH, reveals the origin of this DAYSTAR. Jesus was not a lone ranger. He was on a mission of redemption from God the Father. In Malachi 4:2 Jesus is called the “SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS who would “ARISEV WITHN HEALING IN HIS WINGS”.
