A happy family. Edela is the aunt. She was raised at Casa and now on staff. The parents are Elena and Marlon. Both were raised at Casa.

Wednesday the Alabama team went with Alex to install stoves in a village. That is a great experience for young people.

I will give my Friday morning. I added the part from the 1980s. What God has done in my life is beyond my wildest dreams. I can only pray now that the next two generations will continue what we started.

The two teams are working hard on getting the concrete foundations removed. The two playgrounds down below my house were hard to remove the concrete but the Maryland team finished it. They are Mennonites so they know how to work.

On the back the Maryland team is also working to get the concrete up. It is so important because the business where we purchased the playground is going to install it. So the Alabama and Maryland teams have combined to see this project completed.

We donated our generator and huge diesel tank to a church that is truly amazing. Everyone in the congregation works. Pastor Carlos is the man who came for Christmas and ministered to our children. The kids were so blessed and in turn we are blessed to be able to give them the generator. It was a gift to Casa many years ago.

CONSOLATION OF ISRAEL is found in Luke 2:25. #And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was, Simeon; and the same man was just and righteous and devout, waiting for the CONSOLATION OF ISRAEL: and the Holy Ghost was upon Him.” A few weeks after Jesus was born, —-joseph and Mary took Him to the temple in Jerusalem to dedicate Him to the Lord. A man named Simeon bas moved by the Holy Spirit to the temple. He immediately recognized Jesus as the Messiah who was sent as the CONSOLATION OF ISRAEL. Consolation means “comfort” or “relief”. Simon believed that he would live to see the Messiah before He died. He reported in Luke 2:35 that Jesus birth was good news-bad news. It was a prediction of Jesus future crucifixion.
