Yesterday the staff had breakfast in my house with Dottie. Everyone brought something and the food was good. 11 of the people were young people who grew up here and are now on staff.

The Alabama arrived Saturday night so that is a great blessing.

Saturday afternoon David Beam came with a group from the USA. He and his wife, Damaris, have a wonderful ministry of building homes, caring for the needy and feeding those who are hungry. He has been in Guatemala nearly 50 years. He has been an influence in my life.

I began a 12-part teaching on the Law of the Spirit. As found in Romans 8:2. It reads, “For the law of the Spirit in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” The law of the Spirit is life. John 8:2 says, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” Today I shared on number one which is the law of confession.” 

Proverbs 6:2 says that “We are snared by the words of our mouth.” Remember that whatever you put in your heart will come out.

Another name for Jesus is found in Luke 23:35. “And the people stood beholding. The rulers also with them derided Jesus, saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself, if He be Christ, the CHOSEN OF GOD.” The irony is the named they used was a perfect name for what He came to do. For generations, the Jewish people had looked for a Messiah, who would deliver them from sin. He was not the type of champion they expected. He tells us to take up the cross and follow Him. Matthew 16:24.
