Colton and Gil

Colton and Gil
Pastor Carlos and his son dropped by and they are going to take the old generator for their church in El Estor seven hours from here. They are the ones who did so much with our teenagers and the Christmas activities.
Earlier this week we had parent visitation. This is very critical to the children but also for our psychologist to observe the relationship between parent and child. Since we have over 60% of our children being abused it is a way to gain insight into the relationship, so we make the correct decisions as to how to follow up with CNA.
Colton and Gil have done a great job with the young adults. He finished a kitchen for them in transition they are teaching cooking skills.
Adam brought a team with hot dogs for the kids followed by a sermon.
My son Tony and I went for haircuts so we can be pretty for the teams coming in. We have not had 60 visitors on campus at the same time in my recent memory. Of course, my memory in encased in a 82 year old brain.
The Bible continues to give us beautiful names of Jesus Christ and today is no different. Ephesians 2:19-20 says “Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God. And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the “CHIEF CORNER STONE”.
Paul assured the believers in the church in Ephesus that their faith in Christ had brought them into God´s kingdom, because He was the CHIEF CORNERSTONE on which the kingdom was built. The name Jesus, as THE CORNERSTONE of our faith is one of the most important of God the Son in the Bible. It is rooted in a Messianic message before He was born.
In Psalms 118:22, the psalmist declares, “The stone which the builders refused is become the HEAD STONE of the CORNER. Iin the stone buildings of Biblical times, a corner stone was used to hold two opposing rows of stones together at the point they were joined. Isaiah 28:16 refers to Jesus as the PRECIOUS CORNER STONE and the TRIED STONE.
