Vanessa

Vanessa (Joselyn)

Vanesa came to Casa when she was a baby and we called her Joselyn. She is a very strong Christian and the dorm mother for Esperanza girls. She sings in another church on Sundays.  Her strong Christianity is seen and known by everyone who meets her.

I know how much many of you love Dottie. She is doing better with her mind although she slips in and out of reality. She was asking me when we are going to get the flowers and pick out the dresses for the 15-year-old girls. And she asked if I was ready to take photos of the graduates. Of course, that happened in November, and she still feels as though she missed it all.

This coming Sunday I will give the last of the 7 words to change your family. I am certain that those of you already know the final word and how it holds every family together.

I have a printer from when I first moved to Guatemala and Orlando keeps it working for me. All my lessons and sermons are on that apparatus, so it is remarkable that it is still printing. It is over 30 years old.

I spoke to the teachers and students this morning as the new school year kicks off.

The violence has gone silent now that the army is in charge.

I found 151 names of God the Son, Jesus. He was the Messiah, the One whom God had promised to send to restore the fortunes of God´s people. He was more than an earthly ruler. He was the divine Son of God who came into the world as a man to die as an atonement for human sin.

Jesus ´work did not end with His crucifixion, resurrection and ascension into heaven. He continues to intercede for Christians at the right hand of God the Father. And He has promised that we will reign with Him eternally upon His triumphant return.
