School is on the horizon

You can see Wes, our board chairman for years, with his sponsored child at graduation. Dottie looks so pretty. She was having a good day.The back row is Tony, Kimberly, Orlando, Adela and Quique.

Yesterday I woke up to a pounding headache which never happens to me. I imagine it is the stress few days with Dottie´s health.

Before Mitch left he bought Pizza for the boys in Vencedores. Pastor Carlos provided tamales for everyone.

The dorm parents are on vacation. Flor, Gil, Colton and Estella Saguach will care for the dorms during this time. Estella lived with us before Adela and Dottie taught her to cook. She fixed Cajun gumbo for everyone on campus.

Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life. I am the richest man on earth.

Now that Caroline has arrived Adela will have more help and take some time off. Adela cares 24 hours a day for Michelle our Down´s syndrome young adult. She also takes care of meals for our entire house so I am glad that she will have relief.

The teachers begin work on January 5th which means another year has flown by.

“Blessed be the LORD GOD OF ISRAEL, for he has visited and redeemed his people. Luke 1:68”. Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist, used this name for God when he broke out in praise at the news that the Messiah would soon be born. But Jesus, the Messiah was more than a gift to Israel alone. Through Him the entire world would be blessed.
