Playground

The older girls made this Jesus and the cross out of cardboard. It is beautiful.
Soon a team will come to demolish the three-playground equipment we have used for years. Then a few weeks after that another team will come to install the three new playgrounds.
The new 28-passenger bus will soon be on campus and that will allow us to save so much on driving the children and driving the teams. In the year 2025 we spent over 125,000 just on going to the airport, teams to Antigua, taking children to court appearances or hospital visits, children on excursions and teams taking dorms to activities. God is so good. I want to thank everyone involved in providing the money for these two large projects.
Liv and Jefferson have had a good week. It was so good for me to see Jefferson and remember that little 4-year-old we were blessed to have a few years before he was adopted. He was adopted into a great family in Ruston, La.
Our school had their first day of class Friday. They met the teachers, received their textbooks and went over the plan for the new school year.
One of the names of God is ROCK and is found in I Samuel 2:2, “There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any ROCK like or God.”
This verse is part of Hannah´s prayer of dedication when she brought her son, Samuel, to Eli the priest. God had answered her prayer for a son. The word ROCK when used of God refers not to a small stone but to a massive outcropping, such as that on a mountain side. These types of rocks remain fixed in place from one generation to another. God is unmovable and is eternal.
Other names of God the Father that describe Him, as the ROCK or STONE or ROCK OF ISRAEL (2 Samuel 23:3), ROCK OF MY REFUGE (Psalm 94:22), ROCK OF MY SALVATION (2 Samuel 22:47]), and ROCK OF MY STRENGTH (Psalm 62:7).
