Love

Sunday was parent´s visitation and my sermon lined up with them being here. It was the Holy Spirit because I had forgotten they were coming. Dottie and I have had all these years together and our love has never wavered.

I know I have shared with you my lesson on the 7 Words that will change your family, but I am repeating them here so you will have all 7 on one page. There are 3 HEALING words: Forgiveness, Blessing and Honor. There are also 3 BUILDING words: Truth, Church and Commitment. You need to be aware of these 6 words in your daily relationships with family.

The 7th word stands alone. It is the transforming word that allows your family to become what God wants it to be. That word is LOVE. Here is what I shared.  (1) Love is a family debt worth having. Romans 13:8. (2) Love keeps our families thinking clear. 2 Corinthians 5:13-14.   (3) Love fuels family harmony. Ephesians 4:1-2.  (4) Love binds our families together. Colossians 2:2. (5) Love keeps us from focusing on family failures. I Peter 4:8. (6) God´s love allows us to conquer every family obstacle. Romans 8:37. Read these scriptures and apply them to your family. If you did not receive yesterday´s update I want to tell you the playground equipment arrived.

Revelation 1:8 says, “I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the ALMIGHTY.” Jesus is referred to as the Almighty only in the Book of Revelation. Revelation portrays the final victory of Jesus Christ over the forces of evil. He is to “rule all the Nations with a rod of iron. God as the Almighty has delegated all authority and power to His Son, who is also known as the ALMIGHTY. Using His unlimited power, Jesus will bring the world to its conclusion in accordance with God´s purpose.
