Jefferson and Liv

Jefferson and Olivia

Jefferson was adopted from Casa when he was a four-year-old young child and is visiting for a week. His wife, Olivia, is here with him. He went to Rustin, La. together with Alex. Now he is all grown up. They live in Birmingham.

Having another nurse, Carolyn, to help with Dottie is such a blessing. Julieta comes twice a week and she, Adela, Jacquelin, Michelle and Carolyn do therapy. Then we have Adela and Carolyn working on the other days except for Tuesday and Saturday when Jacqueline works two eleven hour days.

God has blessed Dottie and her change has been wonderful. Shandi helps on Saturdays.

Dottie barely spoke for 12 months but when all of these became helpers she talks normally and has memory of just about everything. So mentally she has improved 100% although her legs do not work. She understands everything and laughs often. However, when we returned from Bible she was warm to the touch and just wanted to sleep. She complains about being cold.

Corey from Oklahoma has been here visiting his sponsor children It blessed them so much.

“But now, O Lord, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou art our POTTER, and we all are the work of thy hand.” (Isaiah 64:8). Isaiah longed for the wayward people of Judah to subject themselves to God. If they became pliable clay in the Lord´s hands, they would be shaped into beautiful vessels who would glorify His name. The beautiful hymn written by Stebbins says: Have thy own way, Have thy own way¡ Thou art the POTTER, I am the clay. Mold me and make me after thy will, While I am waiting, yielding and still.
