I fell

Saturday, I took a terrible fall tripping over a table that was laying on the floor. Knot on my head and huge scrap on my arm but I am ok. It is part of growing old.

I am teaching the children the 7 words that can change their families when they become adults and have a spouse of their own. We have looked at 1. forgiveness. 2. Blessing. 3.honor and Sunday we will look at TRUTH.

One of my goals when I came to Guatemala was every child would get saved and eventually repair their relationship with their parents. We have had some success in that area but would love to see it happen more often.

I went to the bank alone which I seldom do because if I am held up with a gun I do not want anyone with me. There has been an uptake in armed robberies in the city.

Carline is a quick learner and is working well with Adela and the other personnel.

Would you believe that King Darius of Persia called the Lord THE LIVING GOD when he came to see if Daniel had survived the night he spent among the lions? Daniel 6:20 says “And the king spoke and said…O Daniel, servant of the LIVING GOD, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions.”

Even an unsaved, heathen king realized it would take the LIVING GOD to deliver Daniel from the den of ferocious animals. God is referred to as the LIVING GOD several times throughout the Bible. Joshua 3:10, I Samuel 17:26, Jeremiah 10:10 and Hebrews 10:31. Darius realized pagan idols were lifeless counterfeits.
