English teacher needed

I would appreciate your prayers for an English teacher for our school. We are required to have a teacher with a degree in English. That is the last position to fill.

Tomorrow I am teaching on “What is better than love?”. I will share about knowledge, sacrifice, charity and other things but the answer is nothing is better than love. It is all there in I Corinthians verses 13:1-3, 8 and 13.

Quique and I went to enroll him in classes for engineering in Chimaltenango as the college students are all transferring from Antigua to Chimaltenango. It will be more difficult because in Chimaltenango there are multiple campuses whereas in Antigua they all studied at one campus. They will leave Casa at 6am and return at 7 pm. That will be a long day, but it is only that one day per week. Chimaltenango also is a highly gang related city and actually we had two boys shot to dead there. That was over 10 years ago but please pray for protection as these young people study.

Also pray for a driver we can have trust in.

The next name for Jesus is AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH and is found in two scriptures in the King James Biblen Hebrews 12:2 and 5:9. “Looking unto Jesus the AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” In two modern translations, He is also called the AUTHOR OF SALVATION.

An author is someone who creates. Jesus is the author of our faith, or our salvation, in that He has provided us with the only flawless example of what the life of faith is like. Jesus not only started the journey of faith. He also brought it to completion as the FINISHER of faith. He did not stop until He has guaranteed our final redemption, making it possible for us to enjoy eternal life with Him in heaven.
