The Wedding

Josue, Me, Estela, Mariella and Gladys. Serving Christmas Dinner

Dottie, Orlando, Kimberly and I will attend the wedding in Tecpan. The absolute joy in Tatiana´s face was worth the trip. Her story is one of the worst ever at Casa, but what God has done for her over the years is remarkable. She graduated as a registered nurse and works at Casa. They will probably live in Poaquil which is an hour and a half from Casa so I am not sure what their plans will be, but we will miss her so much if she no longer can be on staff.

So many graduates, so many marriages so many grandchildren make Dottie and I the most blessed people we know.

Dottie had fits of laugher and just enjoyed herself waking me up and sharing thoughts of funny things we have experienced. It makes it hard for me to sleep. But being cheerful is much better than sadness.

With the wedding I thought I would share a special name of God. Jeremiah 31:31-32 says “Behold the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of Egypt; which my covenant they broke although I was an HUSBAND to them, saith the Lord.” God led them out of the wilderness like a loving husband protects his family.

A HUSBAND is an encourager, a listener, an emotional support, and a protector for His family.
