The Wedding

Fresh air, therapy with Jackie.

It is hard to believe that we are in the last month of the year.

My sermon yesterday was a good-bye to the older children who are leaving. 18 – 21 will stay and above that they will leave.

The wedding between Orlando and Kimberly will be precious today for Dottie and myself. I am so proud of them as they have lived here all their lives, stayed pure and now are married. I just do not know where the years went.

Adela cooked gumbo and it is amazing how much she learned from Dottie as this gumbo is as good as Dottie

Yesterday I preached on the importance of prayer with 7 points. One point was that we never hesitate. We should always be happy and ready to go before the Lord in prayer. When you feel a nudge in your inner man, go to your knees and speak it over with Jesus.

When the boys climbed the volcano, they left at 9pm Friday and arrived at 3am Saturday. They took pictures of the sunrise and then headed back down totally exhausted. They were absolutely worn out.

We will begin today by returning to the names of God the Father. We already studied Abba and Almighty God so today I want us to look at ANCIENT OF DAYS which is used only once and that is in Daniel 7:9, “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the ANCIENT OF DAYS did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like a fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.” Daniel had a vision of four world empires that rose to great power and prominence, only to eventually fall into insignificance. Everything around us changes but He remains the same.
