Wednesday, Josue, husband of Estela, will preach the sermon and share about the Christmas tree from the Bible. We will then light up the tree.

The theme is that Jesus is the light of the world so all of the decorations in the cafeteria will revolve around His Light.

The third word of the seven words to change your family is honor. Forgiveness, blessing and now honor are the three healing words even if they do not receive it. Even if they have been abusive. Next, we will look at the 3 building words.

Tuesday the volcano Fuego which is less than an hour from our home erupted. I do not have information on casualties.

We had some visitors who wanted me to share my testimony which I gladly did. They brought soccer shoes for the kids.

One of the scriptures that I began studying following my salvation was II Corinthians 1:3 that says, “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of mercies, and THE GOD OF ALL COMFIORT.” This is where I first saw the word “mercy”. For some reason mercy became the most important word in my life.

Paul was speaking that the Lord was the God of All comfort. He was thinking of the sufferings that we as believers have. The world will ridicule your Christian beliefs if you are not ashamed to live them in public. Persecution should not lead to despair. God´s comforting presence will allow us to remain joyful and optimistic despite our hurt. In the next verse, 2 Corinthians1:4, Paul says “we are to comfort others in any trouble with the same comfort we ourselves are comforted of God”
