Campfire

My grandchildren, Isabel and Javi, singing for Dottie.
Gladys and Serena served Holy Communion yesterday.
We had a bon fire and fireworks in the evening. The children had made Christmas cards, so they were given to the person they chose. Then we all had smores.
The children stayed up until midnight which is a tradition in Guatemala.
Our staff has done a wonderful job of keeping the children occupied during these weeks of school vacation.
Two of my grandchildren, Isabel and Javiar, came and sang a hymn for Dottie. Dottie was presented a beautiful handmade quilt put together by the children and folks in the states.
The water pump on the back property burned up in the heavy rains and lighting yesterday. We still have water on the front property.
“GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH” is the name Isaiah used to address God. Isaiah 54:5 says, “For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is His name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; the GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH” shall He be called. This indicates His unlimited jurisdiction.
This is the opposite view of most pagan nations. Naaman, a Syrian military commander, wanted to carry dirt from Israel back to his country after he was healed by the prophet Elisha in Israelite territory. Naaman thought the miracle working God of Israel was a regional god whose power he could transfer to his own people.
