MISTY

Misty. A miracle.

Sunday, I was going to preach on singing. When I got saved 63 years ago, I wanted to praise the Lord. But God never gave me the voice for performing Christian music. So, I sing during the service and sometimes when I am alone in my bedroom. I do have a captive audience with Dottie unable to run out of the room when I sing.

I gave the team from Maryland my testimony to them yesterday. Cristine preached instead of me.

The breakfast for those in my house plus Shandy who helps with Dottie was fun filled.

Over the weekend the students in transition went to see the giant kites that are flown in Santiago. The giant kites carry food and alcohol to their ancestors. You would not believe how large these kites are.

Our special education daughter, Misty, was given 3 months to live but due to the University of Florida and Shands Hospital she lived tile nearly 9 years old.

Another name for Jesus is HOLY SERVANT found in Acts 4:29-30 “And now, Lord, behold their threatening and grant thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy Word, by stretching forth thy hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.” This refers to Jesus´s role as God´s chosen, obedient and dedicated servant. It emphasizes his humble service to God´s will and His role as the Christ who was prophesized to come, ultimately giving His life to save humanity. It highlights Jesus´s willingness to be humble and obedient to God, even to the point of death, as described in the Book of Philippians.
