It Was Special

Dottie woke me up and said, “Why don´t you have your shoes on? We need to go the mall.” She is so sweet even during her illness. Later she said, “I have never been to a mall in Washington, DC.”.

Graduation is one the most exciting days of the year. The children are all dressed up. Of, course, some are in their caps and gowns. Many visitors are here to watch the graduation of their sponsored child of which some have supported for 12 years.

I think this was one of the very special graduations we ever had. Everything went perfectly.

Another name used for the Holy Spirit is SPIRIT OF COUNSEL AND MIGHT. In Isaiah 11:2 says, “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the SPIRIT OF COUNSEL AND MIGHT, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” How many people do you know who can tell you what to do and then fill you with the strength to accomplish their advice? The Holy Spirit knows what we should do to bring our lives into line with God´s will. He warns us about the dangers of temptation. But he also gives us the strength to resist that temptation.
