Christmas photo

Wes Hall with Dottie. He was our board chairman for over 20 years and a very dear friend.

The church from El Estor furnished music, food, decorations and more than I can say. Cook Baptist from Ruston provided Bibles for each of the graduates and the quinceaneras.

Josue and Estela took the quinceaneras to Rio Dulce where they swam and spent the night.

We even took the Christmas picture since everyone was beautifully dressed.

Every graduation and quinceaneras have been special but what happened these last two days was so much more special.

Pastor Carlos preached yesterday for me. The kids loved it.

We had a Thanksgiving meal which was wonderful.

Our boys began the new soccer year so Tony and Quique were especially excited.

The next name of the Holy Spirit that I want to share with you is the SPIRIT OF GOD. Matthew 3:16-17 says, “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the SPIRIT OF GOD descending like a dove, and lighting upon him. And lo a voice from heaven, say, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

These verses describe Jesus´ baptism by John the Baptist at the beginning of His public ministry. This name for the Holy Spirit refers to God´s active power and divine presence described in the Hebrew and Greek scriptures as a “breath” or “wind” of God.
