A Black Day

Our granddaughter Emma.
It seems that the months are passing more rapidly this year. Maybe it is just my age. The year is one month from concluding.
With all the changes being made by the courts concerning Casa I am just trying to stay in prayer for peace and direction. I personally am praying that Christ will give us a better year than 2025. We need peace in the world and love and compassion for all Christians.
Monday morning, December the first, Orlando and Kimberly will become husband and wife. It seems like just yesterday Orlando was that little 18-month-old, crippled child. Now he is a grown man, a college graduate and a major contributor to the ministry here. He is such a wonderful son.
I had a terrible day as this is the day (Saturday) the older children were told to leave. Each one came to my room, and I prayed and cried for them. I know it was necessary, but it certainly did not remove the pain. As they came by ones and twos we cried and hugged.
As I hugged each one, I had a flash back to when Dottie and I were first married and we were at my house in Bunkie. We were leaving for California and a job. My parents were in front and crying. I drove off and my dad stood in the middle of the road until we could no longer see him. Now I know what he was feeling. I truly believe that today was one of the top ten worst days of my life. It is black Saturday.
The name of the Holy Spirit “SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION” is another name for the Holy Spirit found in “Ephesians 1:17, That the Lord of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the “SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION” in the knowledge of Him.” This comes from Paul and is striking because of its combination of three important ingredients of the spiritual life: wisdom, revelation and knowledge. Revelation is the process by which God makes Himself known to man.
