Rough Sunday

I had a rough time teaching yesterday morning, Sunday, because I was ill and should not have taught but I felt it was important. And even worse is the fact that Adelda who translates for me on Sunday mornings also was ill so she couldn’t help.

I shared stories of my life and gave an altar call and over 50 children and staff came forward.

As I read the Bible I see that Christians should be Teachers, Soldiers, Athletes and Farmers.

I am reading another book by George Muller called A Living Reality which is about his experience of God.

Twenty prisoners escaped from the largest jail in Guatemala. They only caught one and he had only one leg.

I introduced Orlando and Kimberly as engaged and the place erupted in applause.

FOUNDATION is another name for God and is found in Isaiah 28:16, “Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”

Foundation has several meanings, symbolizing stability and the fundamental basis for something, whether it is a physical structure, a spiritual truth, or the very creation of the world. So the biblical meanings include God as the foundation of creation, Jesus Christ as the creative power and sovereignty cornerstone and foundation of the Christian faith, and the core teachings of Christianity as the foundational principles for a believer´s life.
