The team continues to work on the school restrooms and the apartment in the dining hall.
I am using photographs of our childhood because Guatemala says we cannot use photos of children under 18 years of age. So get ready to see my face and others. Quique spent hours separating the photos. I even have photos of my Mom at age 7.
Mario came here as a 2-year-old and now is married, two children and a beautiful wife. He comes to my bedroom every day when he gets off work just to encourage me.
Cindy B. left Thursday morning for her North Carolina home and will return in February for another 6 months with us. She is always a blessing with a wonderful spirit of love and a desire to help.
“Head of the Church” is another name related to Jesus and is found in Colossians 1:18, “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have preeminence.” Jesus is the head of the church because He has supreme authority over it.
This is an analogy of a body with Jesus as the head and the church as the body, meaning he provides life and direction to all its members. Ephesians 5:23: “For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which He is the Savior.” Jesus is the supreme authority, and all life and vitality comes from Him.
