Illness

God says that we are to be Teachers, Soldiers, Athletes and Farmers. If you want to make a difference you must realize who you are in Christ.

Last Sunday I spoke on the Teacher and this coming Sunday I will minister on being a soldier.  Do you realize soldiers are strong, obedient, disciplined, devoted, carry weapons and fulfill Ephesians 6:10-18. You and I are at war with Satan and his demons.

I had to do some banking since this is the first of the month.

Without teams the children have more time to study and since education is so difficult for many of them because they come here with an educational foundation it falls upon the house parents to provide the help. I would appreciate your prayers as I have been ill a couple of days.

CONSOLATION OF ISRAEL is another name of God found in the Bible. Luke 2:25 Simeon says, “And behold there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the CONSOLATION OF ISRAEL: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.”

The Consolation of Israel is a Biblical concept referring to the Messiah , who brings redemption, salvation and comfort to the people of Israel. Consolation means comfort, exhortation, or a “calling to one´s side” signifying a restoration of what was lost and a healing of what was broken. This is the Messianic Hope denoting the long-awaited coming of the Messiah to redeem and restore the people of Israel. It represents God´s comforting deliverance, salvation, and restoration of His people from oppression, exile, and suffering. Simeon recognized the baby Jesus as the fulfillment of God´s promises to His people, bringing light to the Gentiles and glory to Israel.
