Dottie´s Flowers

Dottie loves flowers.

This is a plea for special prayer for Jose, the father of Oscar and Josue, who is the minister who has built over 100 churches with us over the years. He is having prostrate surgery next Tuesday so he needs our prayers.  

Since Dottie has been ill, she cannot work in her gardens so there are several boys led by Adela that have tried to keep it up and beautiful. Even some American men have cut the grass and pulled weeds from her flowers. We take her around in her wheelchair and she is so happy. Our entire 62-year-old marriage has been surrounded by Dottie´s love for flowers.

David´s team, Alabama, gave ice cream to all the children after dinner.

Sadly 2 of our cooks were robbed and hit with a gun walking home from Casa. One had to go to the hospital.

EMMANUEL is another name for Jesus as seen in Matthew 1:23, “Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which is interpreted God with us.” God with us is used to describe Jesus´s divine nature and his special presence with humanity, fulfilling an ancient prophecy from the Book of Isaiah and confirmed in the Gospel of Matthew. I

saiah used this name first in the Bible. The title Emmanuel highlights that God is present with His people in Jesus Christ. It expresses the concept of the Incarnation, where God became human in the form of Jesus.
