63 years

Dottie and I have been married 63 years. We were married February 3,1963. This is a photo of our 50th anniversary.

It is hard to believe how fast this year has passed. Adela has finished her classwork and thesis and is receiving her psychology degree. So, the teachers at the university had a banquet Saturday for all graduates. They even gave them gifts, so Adela was blessed.

I do not know what her plans are but if she leaves in January, I will be brokenhearted. With most of the young people 18 and over leaving we will need help in my house with Mami and Michelle both so ill it will be a challenge. I am praying for an adult called to the mission field who can care for my house.

Adela has this bubbly, loving compassion for Dottie and finding someone like her will be so difficult.

Colossians 1:18 says that JESUS IS THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH. “And He is the Head of the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in al things He might have the preeminence.”

The scripture states that Jesus is the head of the church, meaning He has supreme authority over it. This is often explained using the analogy of a body with Jesus as the head, which gives life and direction to the rest of the body, the church. Jesus has ultimate authority and is the sovereign leader over all believers.

The church receives its life from Christ, who is described as the source from which all vitality flows to the members of the body.”
