Can I have him

Our band playing for their parents

24th: Estella arrived yesterday, and Jessica arrives later. So, we three board members will be meeting with David and Rick later this week.

Keep guessing! Orlando and I went to the city to purchase something special. You will be as happy as any man when I let you know what it is. Orlando came here at 19 months of age and was crippled, unable to walk or even turnover in hid bed. Patty was about 17and she said, “Papi, can he stay with me?” A few months later he could walk and eventually graduated from college and is on staff here. Dottie and I adopted him immediately after he arrived at Casa. You will love the next part of his story.

As we continue to share with you the names for God and Jesus I want to share “BISHOP AND SHEPHERD OF OUR SOULS” as seen in I Peter 2:25. The term “Bishop” translates to Overseer indicating Jesus´ role in watching over, protecting and guiding believers. As “shepherd” he cares for, feeds, restores and ultimately gives eternal life to His followers, whom He refers to as sheep.

Jesus is the one who restores those who have succumbed to sin and are far from His presence. As the good shepherd, Jesus laid down His life for His sheep, bearing their sins and offering eternal life to those who follow Him. It simply says that Jesus is the ultimate figure for spiritual protection, guidance and care. I need Him to guard me and to keep me in the fold.
