Beautiful woman , ugly man

Dottie and me with Michelle who was the first of our 3 children to die.

A young man, Ian, from Washington State was at the airport after having helped another orphanage build a dorm. He was talking about coming back to Guatemala but did not know where to go. Someone overheard him and he came to Casa and will be here a week. Isn´t God good?

I have been praying for some things that the answer from God continues to be “No”. I must believe that when the answer is no that God has something better for me. But waiting has always been difficult for me.

I have a tremendous prayer need. Adela, who cares for my entire house, Dottie, Michelle and the cooking will leave at the end of the year. It will take a special person to replace her.

I need someone who is called to the mission field who is willing to help me. You will not have to pick Dottie up becuaue I have our boys for that.

Last night we celebrated the birthdays for the children born in October.

I gave my testimony to David´s team.

The church, Fraternidad, came again to play and teach the Word to the children. They come twice a month and really minister to all age groups.

The next name of Jesus is found in I Peter 5:4, “And when the CHIEF SHEPHERD shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.” Peter has in mind the leafy crowns awarded to the champion athletes during the era. The physical glory of that crown would fade as the leaves shriveled and died. In contrast, the glory Christ shares with those who shepherd His flock will be everlasting.  The CHIEF SHEPHERD is there with us in times of persecution and suffering.
