Barry Thompson
I am so saddened today as one of the godliest men that I have ever known passed away. Barry Thompson was the heart and soul of KAJN radio for decades and is the man responsible for convincing me to teach on the family for the last 43 years.
I was teaching on faith. He was instrumental in Dottie and I coming to Guatemala as he shared through KAJN about our ministry. KAJN listeners have supported us all these years with finances and thousands of prayers.
His son, Craig, is also a godly and dedicated man of God and KAJN will continue to reach souls for years to come. South Louisiana has lost so many wonderful men and women of God in the last ten years.
Tony and I took Dottie for a spin in her wheelchair around the property. The church, Fraternidad, came for their regular Saturday with Christian worship and ministry to the children.
We are still having trouble with our server, so the following is how you can get my update now. https://www.casaaleluya.org/blog/ Hopefully this post (Sunday) will post correctly. Thanks to all of you for your patience.
El Hakabodh – “The God of Glory” (Psalm 29:3) “The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: (THE GOD OF GLORY) thunders: the Lord is upon many waters.” The term refers to God´s supreme majesty, honor and splendor, which are evident throughout creation and are inherent to His being.
El means God and Hakabodh refers to “the Glory”. This emphasizes God´s unique and admirable qualities. The God of heaven has a voice that can call all galaxies inti existence and spin electrons around molecules. His voice can be louder than waterfalls and His whispers as soft of rustling leaves in the wind. His glory is as constant as a heartbeat and never ends.
