New children

When I was 10 I began to work at 2:30am at the train station waiting for the newspapers from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Opelousas to be thrown off the train so I could deliver them. The station is still there.

We had another tremor, but it was only 3.8.

Shirley called me to tell me she had done very well on the scores needed to get extra pay as a teacher for the government.

We received two more children a girl age 10 and a boy age15 so I am very happy. The government does not allow the photographs of children under 18 to be posted online.

Michelle loves going to Tony and Lily´s home for the weekend. It is good practice should they have to take her in the event Dottie and I can no longer care for her. The best thing is that she loves Tony and Lily so much.

Five of our teenagers qualified for and participated in the State Academic Olympics.

In Exodus 17:15 the Word says Jehovah-Nissi means “The Lord is our Banner (flag)¨. This signifies that God is the ultimate source of victory and protection for His people, acting as a rallying point and source of strength and victory.

Exodus 17:15 is where Moses builds an altar and names if Jehovah-Nissi after the Israelites defeated the Amalekites. It served to give thanks to God and remind the people constantly that as a people their identity was found in the Lord. He would lead the people in a victory procession.
