Roxana received her final status as a lawyer and notary. I am so proud of her.

I continue to teach on MERCY on Sunday mornings and look at the many ways God shows us mercy. For instance, to Noah He gave perseverance; Job received patience; Abraham received faith; Moses received meekness, David received worship; Solomon received wisdom; Daniel received devotion; and Paul received evangelism.

We do not all receive the same gift but we certainly are expected to use the gift He gives us. One person does not have it all but if you use what God gives you and I do the same we function as a body. However every Christian receives forgiveness which is the greatest gift of all.

Sue texted me to say the NC team arrived Sunday morning at 2am in Wadesboro, NC. Very long day for them but they are home safely. They lost one suitcase.

YAHWEH-SHAMMAH means the Lord is There. What could be more comforting than that. He is here with us. Ezekiel 48:35 says, “It was round about 18,000 measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord is There.” Matthew 28:20 says, “Jesus said that He will be present in our hearts.” So we see in Ezekiel´s vision the symbol of God´s constant and abiding presence. God never leaves us nor forsakes us. He has a vision of a new city and a new temple. God is not distant nor absent. It can be connected in the New Testament the concept of Immanuel (God with us).
