Eyes
An interesting thing about Dottie´s disease is that she dreams about her past as if it were today. She wakes me up and tells me stuff about her family. This morning about 4am she woke up laughing and talking to me as though I were her brother Luther. And everything she dreams is positive. She has never awoken and tells me something negative. She has dreamed about her mother, father and sister before today. I believe this is the real her as she has always been a kind and loving Christian.
Michelle, our special needs daughter, has been losing sight in her both eyes so the optometrist sees her every 2 months. Today the examination showed her left eye is a little worse, but the right eye has improved.
Teddie stopped with Lisa and a couple. Ross will be working on the water system and sewer at their ministry home.
As we continue to look at the many names of God YAHWEH TSURI Is “The Lord My Rock”. There is no better word than “rock” to represent God´s permanence, protection and enduring faithfulness.
When I pray to the Rock I am praying to the God who can always be counted on. His purposes and plans remain firm throughout all of history. Psalm 144:1 says, “Praise to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.”
Rocks provided shade, shelter and safety in the wilderness and were used to build altars, temples, houses and city walls. David said in II Samuel 22:2-4 The Lord is my Rock and those verses says God is my fortress, my deliverer, my refuge, my shelter, my shield and the horn of my salvation. God is my stronghold, my savior and is worthy to praise. God is reliable.
