A Fast

The compression boots work well and gives some relieve.

I have started a fast for Dottie. Her feet are becoming extremely weak and atrophying and mentally there is a decline. She uses the compression boots every other day and that gives her some relief.  

If you can fast one meal a day or one day a week or whatever God lays on your heart, then we can fight these changes with the Word of God.

It is quiet at Casa as there are no teams. We are trying to encourage the students to use this time for deeper study.

Makko continues to have Bible study with each age group giving them special attention.

Did you know that there is a God Who sees you? His name is El Roi. It is the name that the Egyptian slave married to Abraham was given as to who God was. Hagar had a child by Abraham. Abraham made her leave and go to the desert where Hagar thought she and her son would die.

She prayed in Genesis 16:13-14 and called on El Roi knowing that He was a God who saw her. This is the only place in the Bible El Roi is used. More on this name tomorrow but you need to be like Hagar and know that God sees you exactly where you are and what you need.
